Tomorrow I’m going to have a pretty busy day. Alex has a soccer game at 8:30 followed by a baseball game at 10:30. From there, my three man crew will have to head over to the Parchment Little League where we’ll call games at 3:00 and 5:30.
That will then be followed by Game 1 of the 2009 Stanley Cup Finals … Detroit vs. Pittsburgh.
Now, partially because it’ll take a lot more time than I’ll have to get from Parchment to the Joe, and partially because I’m not the coach of my Red Wings (because that would require me to know how to skate on ice) I won’t be able to give them a pre-game speech.
But if I could, I’d say something like this:
I’d even try to say it with a great Canadian/Minnesotan/UP’er accent! I just couldn’t wear those pants!
At any rate, before I goto bed tonight, I just want to say to my boys “Good luck. Skate hard. And kick their asses!”
