As you know, I’m lucky enough to serve as the Michigan Jaycee Chaplain this year and I get to give speeches during the “Sunday Morning Fellowship Breakfast”. Each Chappy does their own thing for these events and I’ve been using music to get folks to think a little deeper and to express things I’ve been feeling about the Jaycees for a while.
One of the things that I’ve not done, however, is figured a way to truly say “Thank you” to some of my good friends that I’ve made in and out of the Jaycees. I think I might take August as the chance to do that, using this song.
I’ll hook you up with more specific thoughts on the lyrics, but for now (and a little help from Marky Mark), I’ll leave this to you.
